Kessler-Ward prediction

The final matchup in the first bracket in the World Boxing Classic Super Six Tournament between Mikkel Kessler and Andre Ward is about to take place in a few hours on Showtime in Oakland, California. To give you guys a quick recap, Arthur Abraham knocked out Jermaine Taylor in the 12th and final round in the first match, and Carl Froch decisioned Andre Dirrell, which in my opinion was a robbery, in the second match.

So if you didn't catch the last VLOG Episode it's right here below. I discuss the Pacquiao-Cotto fight and I also give my prediction for this fight. My prediction starts at the 6:48 mark if you want to just jump to that.

  1. So much for my thoughts on that fight. The awkward style, constant holding and head first lunging by Ward were enough to keep Kessler off balance. He should have been able to overcome that, though, unless the wear and tear has taken a toll. I still don't see Ward being something special, at least until he learns to cover up better, and finds some pop.
